Three roofs, start to finish.

Each case study shows the problem we found, what we did about it, and how it has held up since.

The Glover Road farmhouse

Material
Hand-split western red cedar
Duration
9 working days
Size
2,650 sq ft
New cedar shake roof on a heritage farmhouse in warm evening light

Challenge

A 1928 farmhouse with three layers of old roofing, sagging purlins and a heritage look the owners refused to lose.

Solution

We stripped to the rafters, sistered six weak members, added a ventilated batten system and laid hand-split shakes in the original exposure.

Result

The attic now stays dry through a full winter, and from the road it looks like the house simply aged well.

Ridge-line modern on 208th

Material
24-gauge standing seam steel, charcoal
Duration
7 working days
Size
3,100 sq ft
Modern home with a charcoal standing seam metal roof and mountains behind

Challenge

A tired cedar roof on a new-build style home, with six intersecting planes and a low-pitch section over the great room.

Solution

Panels were formed on site to each run length. The low-pitch section got a mechanically seamed profile rated for its slope.

Result

Clean lines that match the architecture, and a roof the owners expect to outlive their mortgage.

Brookswood townhouse block

Material
Two-ply SBS membrane, tapered insulation
Duration
12 working days
Size
8 units, 9,400 sq ft
Aerial view of a low-slope townhouse roof with grey membrane and skylights

Challenge

Ponding water, four leaking skylights and a strata that needed work staged so every family could stay home.

Solution

We phased the job two units at a time, rebuilt drainage with tapered insulation and replaced every skylight.

Result

No standing water after the first November storm, and zero interior leak calls since.
